Then on the flip side, here are a couple of pictures of the result of a tornado that landed near Abingdon, Virginia, a couple of weeks ago. No leaves were left on any trees in the area, and all that was left of some houses was the foundation. A very eerie sight.

Inspirational Hike in Virginia Mountains
The weather was so perfect this past weekend, I took a day off and headed off to the Appalachian Trail just outside of Roanoke. McAffe’s Knob is a pretty easy 5 mile hike with some spectacular scenery at the top.
