Even though spring is creeping along quietly, and the willows are beginning to sprout down the road, it still seems like winter is dominating the scene. This weekend is supposed to bring the first real warm weather. So, thinking of blue skies and warm weather, I have painted a few Appalachian farm scenes.
Farmhouse on the Hill has just sold at Zuma Coffee in downtown Marshall. The other two are still in the tedious process of drying, but should be ready for varnish and framing in the next week or so. They are all 8″ x 10″ oil paintings.

Your art is wonderful! I love the old barns and scenes around here. There is something about our hills that just bring them alive.
